Join me on the weekend of November 8th-10th to celebrate music, food, family and comedy but most importantly, all with a side of beer. This is an Australia wide event and we being the lucky state of WA, are kicking it off. So WA, let’s be sure to make sure it a big one!
Back for its eleventh year, 59 WA brewers, cider makers and distillers will set up in Esplanade Park amongst the iconic Fremantle, to share craft brews and other one-off creations for the perfect start to summer. Along with live entertainment, masterclasses, demonstrations, live music, live comedy, kids’ entertainment and activities, everything has been thought of so you can soak up the whole experience.
Beer lovers will be taken on a journey of beer and food discovery; exploring rare brews, beer/food pairing and exclusive festival brews, ciders, cocktails and boutique spirits from around the country, direct from the brewers themselves.
For the first time, the ‘Paddle Bar’ will be making their debut, a project beer bar hosting a collection of 40 out-of-the-box craft beers and ciders. Brewers are invited to get experimental with a 50-litre brew of their choice to showcase their creativity and skill-set in producing a truly one-off brew which apparently isn’t that easy to do.
If beer isn’t your thing, don’t despair, they have catered for everyone with ciders, cocktails and wines, handcrafted and perfectly complemented by the most decadent local street eats. Or maybe you’d rather visit the espresso martini bar, Gin and Juice bar serving cocktails with a cold-pressed juice or the Melted Cheese Bar… which clearly needs no description.
More than just a celebration of WA craft beer, festival-goers can also expect a huge line-up of entertainment from comedy acts, roving entertainment and live music, all included in the ticket! This year’s headlining music act is ARIA-award winning band Art vs Science who will take the stage on Saturday 9 November, following on from support act Drapht performing on Friday 8 November.
Tickets are on sale from $20, so make sure you grab one before it sells out and be part of this Australian wide event. You can find the link below with all the extra info!
