The Best of Fringe 2020
One of Perth’s favourite festivals is back again for another year and all the action kicks off this weekend, Jan 17th until the 16th February.
Fringe World sees the streets of Perth bursting with talent and entertainment around every corner and venue as far as the eye can see. With thousands of people enjoying the array of entertainment every year, sit back and laugh out loud at one of the stand-up shows or be in awe at one of the circus acts.
With tickets for all budgets and shows to tantalise all your different tastes, take your pick from comedy, music, musicals, circus, kids shows and much more.
The most popular way to enjoy the Festival is at one of the central hubs such as The Woodside Pleasure Garden or Girls School. The spaces are free to enter and have a magical atmosphere featuring food trucks, outdoor bars and free entertainment.

Winners of the Best Cabaret at Fringe World in 2019, this talented group presents the most delicious entertainment experience you’ll have in Perth this summer. Yummy Unleashed blends outrageous drag, fierce burlesque, luscious costumes and entertaining choreography with funny, surreal and touchingly raw performances.
L.I.A.R (Life is a Rehearsal)
Featured on France’s Got Talent and taking centre stage at The Woodside Pleasure Garden, this is a unique, captivating and magical theatrical experience featuring extraordinary props, special effects and physically staged scenes all set to live music…a one-of-a-kind experience.

Sirqus Alfon – I am Somebody
Featured on Americas Got Talent this show brings a hilarious, technical masterpiece that combines digital engineering, beatboxing, comedy, light, video and lasers, I am Somebody is a musical phenomenon, featuring high-tech performance infused with rhythm, humour and a touch of magic.
Sirqus Alfon Sirqus Alfon will have you feeling like you’re trapped inside in a video game that you’ll never want to leave.

Perth’s favourite all-male cabaret of burlesque with balls are back! Get ready for a madcap safari through extravagant birdbath boylesque, high-flying circus bandits, irreverent interludes, ferocious fanfares, savage gender offenders and show-stopping drag artistes.

Debuting at Fringe World 2019 they are back and better than ever. This is a riotous high-energy comedy Western that takes no prisoners, sets the bar on fire, and hightails out of town.
Featuring a mix of humour and highly skilled acrobatics, this talented group will have you on the edge of your seat.
From the Paris catwalks, to the office boardroom, South Australian choreographer/performer, Erin Fowler, brings FEMME, a solo theatrical dance work, to FRINGE WORLD for the first time, following shows in the 2019 Reykjavik, Edinburgh and Stockholm Fringe Festivals.
Drawing on her experiences as a fashion model and businesswoman, FEMME is one woman’s search for self within the cacophony of gender and sexual conditioning surrounding us, exploring femininity, sexuality, power and the gender roles we conform to or break against.
Michael Shafar – Getting Better
Michael Shafar is a comedian and writer for Channel 10’s The Project. He has toured across Australia and internationally and has appeared on ABC’s Comedy Bites, triple j’s Good Az Friday, SBS’s RAW Comedy and The Project.
He returns to Fringe World in 2020 with an all-new show that is his funniest yet. Come see why everything is Getting Better, talking about the last 12 months of his life, including going into remission and the positive impact that cancer has had on his relationships and outlook.
Brat Kids Carnival
A high-energy, super fun afternoon show for all ages!
Created to get youngsters excited about expressing themselves, this easily digestible 45-minute long play-date features hula hoops at top speed, acrobatics at crazy heights and seriously cheeky clowning antics.
Wild circus skills, pumping music, ridiculous acts of amazement, and eye-popping party tricks provide an afternoon of enjoyment for all ages, not just mum and dad – but they can come too!
Recommended for children aged 4-14. Includes smoke effects.
