Where is there great food, heaps of fun and lot’s to do only two hours from Perth? Here is the last-minute school holiday trip you and the family have been waiting for.
Yet again the school holidays have rolled around, 10 hectic weeks have passed and now it’s time to pull the kids out of school and keep them entertained, fight free and occupied….is that too much to ask? Ok, maybe the fight free part anyway. HELP!
With prime weather in the North West and the ease of a three-hour flight to Bali, there are always easy and common holiday options for us Perth-ians, but why not look to what’s right in front of us. Just a short and convenient two-hour road trip kind of in front of us….. I’m talking about the gorgeous country town of Bunbury.
Boasting iconic beaches, great restaurants and so many child-friendly activities, lot’s of them being free, we’ve decided to stay local these school holidays and I couldn’t be more excited. I mean Bali does sound good but three kids on a plane by myself? I’ll take the 2-hour car ride thanks.
Growing up and to this day the south-west has always played a huge part in my life. Being able to escape and experience the peacefulness and outdoors was something I wanted my children to experience growing up too. That’s why heading to Bunbury and exploring the activities, restaurants and accommodation with my three young ones is a perfect getaway and I want to share all my top tips and favourite places with you all.
We have a jam-packed two days full of fun, food and activities planned. This is just a snippet of our itinerary and places to add to your list if you’re heading there sometime soon.
